    Biography

Adam Evans is an Emmy-winning director and editor whose work blurs the line between fiction and documentary, often exploring identity, performance, and the systems that shape human experience. His films examine how belief — whether personal, cultural, or constructed — can define or distort our sense of self.

His past work includes Brian's Dots, an Emmy-winning short documentary on adaptive artist Brian Delozier and his reinvention through pointillist art after a traumatic injury; Rewind Selecta, a pilot episode tracing the global influence of Jamaican music through the evolution of a single riddim; and Pine Tree, a narrative short starring Tobias Segal and Dre Davis about creative obsession and the haunting weight of legacy.

As an editor, Adam has shaped a wide range of work, including Skate-Hers, a limited series for the Olympic Channel spotlighting female skateboarders across the globe, and Halabja 1988, a powerful documentary short about survivors of the Halabja genocide for Academy Award Nominee Eran Preis.

On the commercial side, Adam has directed campaigns for brands including Crayola, BMW, T-Mobile, and Deathwish Coffee, blending cinematic storytelling with strategic clarity. His branded work includes directing Mark Webber as Father Time for Chrono24, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang for VAST Data, and Olympic icon Simone Biles for cybersecurity company Axonius.

Adam's debut feature, The Selling Stage, is currently in post-production. The film follows a legendary pro wrestler in the twilight of her career as she questions whether the American Dream is as scripted as the drama inside the ring.
