    About the Project

Westrock Coffee asked us to create a hero brand film that answered one question clearly and emotionally: why does Westrock exist. The story lives at the beginning of the supply chain, with the farmers who grow coffee and too often get exploited by global brands. Westrock's mission is to change that by paying fair wages and building a model where the people at the source share in the value they create.

The hero video was built as an origin story and a worldview statement. We structured it around Westrock's evolution, using cinematic documentary language and grounded visuals to connect mission to reality. In addition to the hero film, we created a set of web loops for their site and a flexible b-roll library designed for ongoing social use, so the brand could stay alive beyond a single launch moment.

    Why This Exists

Most coffee marketing sells taste and lifestyle while leaving the real economics of coffee invisible. This project exists to make the invisible visible, and to let Westrock's purpose become the first thing you understand about the brand. The film is not just a mission statement. It is a reframe. If coffee is a daily ritual for millions of people, then the values behind that ritual matter, and the story of who gets paid should not be hidden.

The goal was also clarity. Ethical sourcing can be vague when it is treated like a slogan. By grounding the story in Westrock's real growth and real choices, the film turns values into proof and gives audiences a reason to trust the brand, not just recognize it.
