    About the Project

For Davler Media, we developed a video campaign for City Guide, NYC's iconic tourist guide, built around a hybrid of real-world documentary interviews and cinematic traveler scenes. The approach blends authentic perspectives from the people who use City Guide every day, concierges and marketers, with b-roll and scripted moments that follow visitors as they navigate the city with the guide in hand.

The campaign was designed as a flexible set of deliverables. A hero film establishes the full story, then shorter cutdowns focus on key audiences like hospitality, marketing, and sales. Each piece is rooted in real interview moments and supported by NYC texture, movement, and human energy so the guide feels lived-in and essential, not just informational.

    Why This Exists

City Guide succeeds because it reaches people at the exact moment travel becomes real. Visitors may research before they arrive, but the choices that matter often happen the same day or the day before. This campaign exists to highlight that in-market power, showing City Guide as the trusted, physical touchpoint that helps concierges guide experiences and helps businesses show up when tourists are ready to decide.

The structure was also built for performance. Instead of one catch-all brand spot, the content is modular and targeted, with short teasers designed to pull viewers toward longer versions and a clear call to action. The result is a campaign that can live across website, email, and social while staying grounded in the most persuasive thing City Guide has: real people describing what it does in the real world.
